【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesgeneralguidelinesforthesamplingandanalysisofairborneisocyanatesinworkplaceair.ThisInternationalStandardisappropriatefororganiccompoundscontainingfreeisocyanatefunctionalgroupsandisspecificforthequantificationofmonomers,polymersandprepolymers,vapoursandaerosols.Differentialairsamplingisperformedwithasegregatingdevicewhichcanshowthephysicalstateoftheisocyanatesanalysedasfoundinthefield.Thiscapacity,however,mayshowlimitationsforgivensituations,e.g.whenaerosolscollectedonthefirstfiltercontainfreemonomerthatmigratestothesecondfilterandisthenquantifiedasvapourphaseisocyanate.Thedeterminationofaromaticmonomersincludestoluenediisocyanate(TDI)and4,4'-diisocyanato-diphenylmethane(MDI).Aliphaticmonomersincludeisophoronediisocyanate(IPDI),4,4'-methylenebis-(cyclohexylisocyanate)(HMDI)and1,6-hexamethylenediisocyanate(HDI).Isocyanateoligomersandprepolymerscanalsobedeterminedusingthismethod.Thedouble-filtermethodisdesignedtodetermineshort-term(15min)exposureconcentrationsoforganicisocyanatesinaworkplaceenvironmentbypersonalmonitoringorbyfixedlocationmonitoring.However,iftheexposureisexpectedtobeinvapourformonly,thensamplingtimecanbeextendedto8h.Sincethefilterisderivatizedinthefieldimmediatelyaftersampling,lossofisocyanateaerosolbecauseofitsreactionwithotherchemicalsisnegligibleexceptforveryfast-reactingisocyanatesystemssuchasfoamsprayingofMDIinpolyurethaneapplications.ThemethodissuitableforthemeasurementofairborneorganicisocyanatesintheNCOequivalentconcentrationrangeof0,01μg/sampleto2,1μg/sample,correspondingtoapproximately0,67μg/m3to140μg/m3fora15lsamplevolume.Thisrangebracketsabouteighttimesthecurrentestablishedthresholdlimitvalue(TLV)of5ppbformonomerssetbymanynationalauthorities.

【摘要】:AlthoughthereareASTMtestmethodsforexfoliationtesting,theyconcentrateonspecificproceduresfortestmethodologyitself.Existenttestmethodsdonotdiscussmaterialvariablesthatcanaffectperformance.Likewisetheydonotaddresstheneedtoestablishthesuitabilityofanacceleratedtestforalloysneverpreviouslytestednortheneedtocorrelateresultsofacceleratedtestswithtestsinoutdooratmospheresandwithenduseperformance.Thisguideisacompilationoftheexperienceofinvestigatorsskilledintheartofconductingexfoliationtestsandassessingthedegreeandsignificanceofthedamageencountered.Thefocusisontwogeneralaspects:guidestotechniquesthatwillenhancethelikelihoodofobtainingreliableinformation,andtipsandprocedurestoavoidpitfallsthatcouldleadtoerroneousresultsandconclusions.Thefollowingthreeareasoftestingareconsidered:thetestmaterialsstartingwiththex201C;as-receivedx201D;sampleupthroughfinalspecimenpreparation,thecorrosiontestproceduresincludingchoiceoftest,inspectionperiods,terminationpoint,andratingprocedures,andanalysesofresultsandmethodsforreportingthem.Thisguideisnotintendedasaspecificcorrosiontestprocedurebywhichtoevaluatetheresistancetoexfoliationofanaluminumalloyproduct.Thisguideisnotintendedasabasisforspecifications,norasaguideformateriallotacceptance.1.1ThisguidediffersfromtheusualASTMstandardinthatitdoesnotaddressaspecifictest.Rather,itisanintroductoryguidefornewusersofotherstandardexfoliationtestmethods,(seeTerminologyG15fordefinitionofexfoliation).1.2Thisguidecoversaspectsofspecimenpreparation,exposure,inspection,andevaluationforconductingexfoliationtestsonaluminumalloysinbothlaboratoryacceleratedenvironmentsandinnatural,outdooratmospheres.Theintentistoclarifyanygapsinexistenttestmethods.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
