【摘要】:Theacid-insolubleresiduecontentisusedinconjunctionwithotherassaystodeterminethetotalcompositionofbiomasssamples.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheacid-insolubleresidueofhardandsoftwoods,herbaceousmaterials(suchasswitchgrassandsericea),agriculturalresidues(suchascornstover,wheatstraw,andbagasse),wastepaper(suchasofficewaste,boxboard,andnewsprint),acidandalkalinepretreatedbiomass,andthesolidfractionoffermentationresidues.Allresultsarereportedrelativetothe105x00B0;Coven-driedweightofthesample.1.2Theresiduecollectedcontainstheacid-insolubleligninandanycondensedproteinsfromtheoriginalsample.Anindependentnitrogenanalysiswouldberequiredtodeterminetheacid-insolublelignincontentseparatefromthecondensedproteinfractionandisoutsidethescopeofthistestmethod.1.3Aportionofthelignininsomebiomasssampleswillremainsolubleduringthisprocedure.Thetotallignininabiomasssampleincludesbothacid-solubleligninandligninintheacidinsolubleresidue.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection8andNote2andNote4.
