【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforplasticizedcelluloseacetatepropionatethermoplasticcompoundssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Thesecompoundshaveapropionylcontentlessthan48%andanacetylcontentlessthan3%andmayormaynotcontaindyesandpigments.Cellulosicplasticmaterials,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable.Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosecellulosicmaterials,providedthatallspecificrequirementsofthisspecificationaremet.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.3Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecalloutspecificationareintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandperformancerequiredofthepart,environmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,fabricationprocesstobeemployed,costsinvolved,andinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentorsimilarISOstandard.
