【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardpresentsthegeneralmethodologygoverningthedesignofneutronradiationprotectionshieldingandthechoiceofneutronradiationprotectionshieldingmaterials.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletofacilitiesandoperationswhereneutronsourcesarelocatedandused,andwhereworkersareoccupationallyexposed.Theseoperationsandfacilitiesvaryconsiderablyindesignandpurpose.Thesefacilitiesandoperationsinclude,butarenotlimitedto:—nuclearpowerplants;—researchreactors;—particleacceleratorsandneutrongenerators;—fusionresearchfacilities;—transportationpackagingforradioactivematerialsoperations;—medicaltreatmentandresearchfacilitiesandapplications;—industrialapplicationssuchasuseofdevicesformeasuringanddetectingmoistureanddensitylevel;—spaceapplications;—calibrationfacilities;—radiographicinstallations;—nuclearfuelcycleinstallations(reprocessingplants,plutoniumsolutionhandlingfacilities,shieldedcells,wastestorage,etc.).ThecriteriaforthedesignofneutronshieldingandthechoiceofshieldingmaterialscontainedinthisInternationalStandardshouldbeappliedtothedesignofneutronradiationprotectionshieldingsystemsinsuchfacilities.
